Cappellino's began in 1969 when Frank Cappellino founded Towne Buick/Pontiac/Cadillac in Medina, New York.  Mr. Cappellino moved the dealership in 1974 to Delaware and Hertel as Towne Buick, and in 1988, built a brand new facility on Transit Rd. in Williamsville, NY.  In 1991, Frank’s sons, Steve and Gary bought the dealership.  Under their management, the company has continued to grow adding Western New York’s exclusive Hummer dealership in 2001, Niagara Nissan in Lockport in 2003, Saab in 2006 and Pontiac GMC in 2008.
